Formulated for younger hot splints. Fresh splints may typically be up to 60 days after initial appearance and still be pliable to the touch. When using Silver Splintex allow the horse total rest. Total application time may be 15 days, or 3 five day cycles. Silver Splintex should be applied very lightly and bandaged. This needs to be repeated on days 2 and 3. The bandage needs to be removed on day 4 and 5. Reapply on day 6, following the above cycle. If it is not practical or advisable to bandage young horses, then apply Silver Splintex very lightly daily for 3 days, followed by 2 days rest. Repeat cycles until splint is eliminated. Contains Camphor. Important Note: Do not mix with DMSO.
